The Hughen Center’s HCS program is a Medicaid Waiver program that provides specialized services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a variety of settings, striving to provide the least restrictive environment while enriching quality of life. Individualized services provided to the individuals include:

Residential Support Services/Supervised Living (3 or 4 bedroom group home)

Host Care – provides an opportunity for family relationships and allows the individual to reside in the home with family or a foster family.

Supported Home Living – home and community support regarding life skills and community involvement.

Day Habilitation – provides a safe and stable environment to attend Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) working on individual goals such as: job training, self-help skills, socialization/recreation, and other skills.

Nursing Services – RN on site and on call for emergencies.

Respite – provided a relief from caregiver duties

Behavioral Supports – an analysis of behaviors and provided a behavior management program in the residential setting and day habilitation to develop positive behavior.
